The name says it all! I think this is so cool and I’m a huge fan of the concept. Toys that simulate violence- such as plastic guns, knives and grenades- are handed over by children and parents. Collected by donation and drives, these “toys” are accumulated and then used by children to create works of art that promote and express peaceful ideals.
A philanthropic effort to end violence by the promotion of creative outlets. So brilliant!
“WE SHOULD GET TIES SO WE CAN LOOSEN THEM”
“what?” —Wade+I.
She knows just what she’ll wear.
She always wears blue.
So sneakers or flip-flops?
I’m starting to panic, (wait wait)
Remember she asked you,
remember to breathe.
And everything will be okay.” —Dashboard Confessional
When the sun slowly chases the moon from the sky
And touches your face as you open your eyes
What are you thinking? Do you like what you see?
Is it all that you dreamed of or do you wish it was me?
Is the life that you’ve chosen free from regret?
Or is what might have been just too hard to forget?
Has the glitter all faded? Do you get what you need?
Are you satisfied baby or do you wish it was me?
Does each kiss seem closer to the first or the last?
Is the fire still ragin’ or has it burned down to ash?
Do the memories haunt you? Do they beg and they plead?
Are you satisfied baby or do you wish it was me?
